Our mission and goal is to Know Jesus Fully as our best Friend and appreciate His graciousness, faithfulness, justice and unconditional love. We believe that from this day by day abiding relationship of love, trust and faith, Christ will become the Lord of our lives.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we strive to do His will and to Reflect His Character Clearly. In our families, our church and our community, we want to reflect Jesus’ character in an atmosphere of love and acceptance, and thus attract people to Christian fellowship and worship in God’s Remnant Church.
We believe that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is God’s last Remnant Church (Revelation 12:17; 19:10; 14:12), called by God to proclaim a special message (Revelation 14:6-11; 18:4; 1 Peter 2:9), at a special time (Revelation 3:14-22; 12:17; Matthew 24:3-14), with a special emphasis (Revelation 12:12; 17:14; John 1:29; 14:6, 12:32).
As we grow in Jesus we seek to follow His example to serve others and to Share His Message Joyfully. It is our vision to affirm the love of God to the Santa Barbara Community by extending God’s last call in the most loving way in preparation for the Second Coming of Christ.
We recognize that the accomplishment of Christ’s call to commitment and His statement of mission: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…”(Matthew 28:19, 20), involves risking ourselves totally if we are to have a part in its fulfillment. That by virtue of our membership in this church, every member of our church family is invited and encouraged to share in the high privilege of becoming involved in the pursuit and enactment of the mission Jesus has outlined.
