“ How the Santa Barbara Seventh-day Adventist Church became one of the most talked about churches in their county.”

Local TV, Radio and major newspapers have featured Santa Barbara Seventh-day Adventist church.

Santa Barbara- January 14, 2005, Santa Barbara Seventh-day Adventist church’s unique approach to evangelism has intrigued major local media including TV, radio and several newspapers resulting in repeated coverage. The media attention has increased the church’s profile in the local community. More and more people are becoming aware of the Santa Barbara Seventh-day Adventist church and its passion to spread the Good News.

It all began in May of 2003 when Pastor Geli and several members of the church decided to apply PraiseCast’s unique approach to reach more people in their evangelism efforts. PraiseCast provides broadcasting of the church’s services LIVE and archived over the Internet and website enhancement, as well as effective Public Relations and outreach methodologies.

“I get overwhelmed with joy when I hear the positive impact of our webcasting in people’s lives--from military personnel away from their homes in forward positions, to couples with marital problems, to senior citizens that have been out of touch with their church for years. We are thankful for the new technology that is putting us in touch with people that need us,” said Pastor Geli. “I have received communications from people all over the world sharing with me how viewing our services has helped them.”

Santa Barbara Seventh-day Adventist church is the first and only church on the Central Coast of California that offers live and recorded video broadcasting of its services via the Internet.

“It was Pastor Geli’s and a few church members’ vision and ability to foresee the positive impact of this new idea that got it started. Then the church board and members embraced the new plan. With enthusiasm and bravery, their love for evangelism helped a strong grass roots operation to begin. These efforts, combined with PraiseCast’s comprehensive services, created an increase in attendance to the church services and enormous positive local media attention,” said Vince Imani, president of PraiseCast.

Since the start of its live Internet broadcasts, this church has touched many hearts from all over the US and other countries, including US military personnel stationed in Iraq and other parts of the world.

The regular live video broadcasts can be viewed every Saturday morning beginning at approximately 11:30am to 12:15pm Pacific Time at "www.knowjesusfully.com". A recording of each broadcast is also available at the same web site for later viewing.
