Know Jesus Fully: Podcast Publishing

Podcasting is the latest craze to hit the internet!  But, it's just a tool to deliver the same information.  The good news is that it's done in a more convenient way for your client.  Podcasting is done by way of a "subscription", similar to a monthly subscription to your local newspaper.  Every day the paper is delivered to your door, but the information changes.  As long as you subscribe, you get new information every day.
In this setup demonstration here, I have chosen to use a program called NewzAlert.  There are several other software programs out there, but I found this one to be very simple and works well.  Take a look around and download the trial versions available.  The principles are the same, just the "feel" might be different. Just remember, this is all rather new, so the software is likely to have some kinks yet.  NewzAlert seems to be very stable.
If you have a Mac computer, you have some great choices for software. (Take a look at Cast Eazy.) You also have more options with your podcasting, such as video podcasting.  "iTunes Enhanced" podcasts allow some great add-ons.   You can check them out at the Apple website. iTunes provides a great player for your podcast subscriptions and, if you choose to go the enhanced route, you will need to test your feed.
Here are some consideration to keep in mind when starting your podcasting.  Know who your audience is likely to be.  Keep your content appropriate for that group (such as length of podcast, enhanced or not, etc) Do your advertising and posting of the feed to pod directories.
If you are planning on following this demo, you may wish to download the software first.  Then you will have a functional feed when you are done.  Make sure you have the following handy: FTP upload information;  a web page that serves as the index for your podcast; content; and patience!  A short prayer will come in handy also. SO, let's go....
Open NewzAlert and the "Welcome" screen opens. Click on the Feed tab and choose New Feed .

At the bottom of the page, notice Feed Properties. It should be "up".

Next, place the title in the Title box.
